Last night, Travis and I attended Bonefish Grill’s Troy location to celebrate their fifth anniversary.
It was a full house at the restaurant as guests were gathered to also raise money for The North Woodward Community Foundation (NWCF). Twenty percent of all sales were donated to NWCF.
NWCF is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to enrich the quality of life for their regional community.
The foundation focuses on raising endowed funds that are invested and used toward grants to fund organizations, assist with human services,
There was live music, Happy Hour specials, and fun raffles. Travis especially loved his Pecan Parmesan-Crusted Rainbow Trout entree, while I had the Atlantic Salmon entree.
“It was really good. The presentation and flavor were nice. And the artichoke hearts merged well with the flavor of the crust. The potatoes were pretty good, too. I would eat there again. I would definitely recommend this place for those who can afford a meal of $30 per person.”
I wasn’t a big fan of my meal: Atlantic Salmon with broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. Travis took a bite of my salmon entree and he said he liked it. To each their own. The salmon just wasn’t for me.
Once the crowd cleared out at the end of the night, Travis and I stayed a little longer in the bar area to enjoy dessert.
We shared a Macedonia Nut Brownie with two scoops of ice cream. The brownie was delicious! Rich with chocolate and an overflowing strawberry sauce, we couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free!
Special thanks to Bonefish Grill for inviting Good Life Detroit to their 5-year anniversary event and gifting us a complimentary dining experience.
