Community News

Media personalities across southeastern Michigan will once again volunteer their time for The Salvation Army’s Celebrity Bell Ringer Day on Saturday, December 2nd from 10 a.m. to noon.

Local celebrities will spread holiday cheer by ringing a bell alongside The Salvation Army’s iconic red kettles to help raise awareness for the 2017 Red Kettle Campaign, the nonprofit’s largest fundraiser of the year.

The public is encouraged to visit over 60 media personalities at more than 40 storefront kettle locations across metro Detroit.

Visitors are welcome to ask for autographs or take photographs with their favorite celebrity in exchange for a red kettle donation.
