Last weekend, Travis and I took our little ones on a holiday tour of Detroit’s Eastern Market. We signed up for the Feet on the Street Tour hosted by Linda Yellin, founder of the Feet on the Street Tour. On our tour, we got to visit the Supino’s Pizzeria and try samples of delicious homemade pizza.
One of the things I love about Detroit is the many unique pizzerias throughout the metor area. When we lived in Tennessee, there were not that many pizzerias. I was so accustomed to the franchise chains such as Domino’s Pizza and Papa John’s Pizza. But after moving to Detroit, I have developed a great love for local pizzerias. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a chain pizza restaurant again!
While at Supino’s we were also treated to a scoop of Mootown’s ice cream. This was our first time trying Mootown ice cream, and it was SO good! I guess Zhen, our toddler, loved the ice cream so much that she had to sneak a bite of my ice cream, too! Mootown’s ice cream is so good that I honestly can’t say that I blame her!
