Retro Dining Experience at Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers

Retro Dining Experience at Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers

I remember the first time we went to Downtown Mt. Clemens, Michigan we discovered a burger diner in the downtown area called Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers. It has a retro feel to it with it’s classic jukebox and classic arcade in the back of the restaurant. We visited the burger diner on a Sunday after church. Travis and I wanted to find a place that was kid-friendly and also inexpensive. I didn’t want to go to a fast food restaurant, either. Seeburger’s was perfect!

I love eating at Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers because the prices are not expensive. For our family of 6, we ordered a 1/2 dozen slider cheese burgers, a 1/2 basket of onion rings, 1 full basket of fries, and four fountain drinks. We paid around $22 for our order. It was plenty for lunch. (We always bring juice boxes for the toddlers since most restaurants do not sell drinks for toddlers.)

Other yummy treats on Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers:

  • Club Sandwiches (Italian, Turkey, Reuben, and Ham)
  • Coney Dogs
  • Salads
  • Fried Twinkies
  • Malt Milkshakes
  • Cream Puffs
  • Ice Cream

We love the classic arcade!

Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers’ arcade is called Detour. We love sitting in the arcade to eat and play games. Maybe the reason why I love the arcade at Seeburger’s is because it reminds me of when I was a kid.

I’ll be honest, another reason why I love dining in the arcade is because my two toddlers can safely run around in the arcade and play, while I can sit and eat without having to tell them to sit down a million times!

As soon as you walk into the arcade you hear 80s music playing. I literally felt like I had stepped into the 80s because everything in the arcade looked like it was from the time period.

The arcade is decked out with road signs, Pac-man paintings, and classic arcade games. Centipede, Tron, Donkey Kong (my favorite), and even pinball machines can be found in the arcade.

We were fortunate enough to go at a time when it wasn’t too busy, so we had the arcade all to ourselves. It was perfect for my little ones; they were able to run around and I didn’t have to stress out about them wandering off in a crowded restaurant.
