Hi, Michigan friends! Here’s some good community news from Hazel Park’s BREEZE Provisioning Center that I thought might be helpful for families in need this Thanksgiving holiday. The metro Detroit-based dispensary is collaborating with the Hazel Park School System, the City of Hazel Park, the Hazel Park Fire Department, and the Hazel Park Police Department and will donate Thanksgiving turkey meal kits to community members in need.

“There are many community members in Hazel Park that suffer from food insecurities every day and we want to help in any way possible,” says Nowfal Akash, CIO of Trucenta, the parent company of BREEZE. “We are honored to be working on a team with leaders and representatives of the Hazel Park Schools, the City of Hazel Park, the Hazel Park Fire Department, and the Hazel Park Police Department. Our hope is that this makes the holidays a little easier for the families we are able to help. Plus, one lucky person will win a Sony PlayStation 5– a great way to celebrate the holidays.”
