Building Bosses Boutique (BBB) owner Renee Nesbitt is back at it with another exciting pop-up shop event coming up this Sunday, May 2nd! The Bosses Link Up is an opportunity for business owners, entrepreneurs, and career professionals to find stylish business attire at an affordable price.

Last month, Renee launched her business on 313 Day. She received a great response from new customers and exceeded her revenue expectations.

Calling BBB’s launch a day that was filled with “overwhelming goodness,” Renee says she experienced “tears of joy” and she is thankful for the wonderful feedback she has received from customers and supporters.

“The feedback that I’ve gotten has been great and it keeps me pushing to want to do the pop-up shops,” Renee says.

After her story was featured in the Detroit Free Press, Renee started receiving many inquiries about her Building Bosses Boot Camp. So she moved up the boot camp’s launch date from June to May.

The boot camp is an extension of BBB offering entrepreneurs various business coaching tips. For instance, the Building Bosses Link Up will feature two guest speakers to discuss business topics.

Business professional Adam Layne will talk about credit card processing for entrepreneurs who are looking to expand their business. He will also share insight on other payment options business owners can use instead of Cash App and PayPal.

Tina Williams, Chief Operating Officer of QT Business Solutions and Grant Writer, will also talk about how to start a business plan, grants that are available to entrepreneurs, and how business owners can apply for grants.

Each speaker will speak for about 15 minutes each. Afterward, guests are invited to introduce themselves to the speakers and ask any follow-up questions they may have.

“I know that the world has persuaded us to think that you have to wear Gucci, you have to wear Louis. You don’t have to look like money to be making money. The perception the world has created– it’s really horrible and I’m trying to change that.”

EXCITING NEW EVENTS COMING UP FOR BUILDING BOSSES BOUTIQUE

BBB also has some exciting events coming up this summer. Renee is planning an event with Enjoy Detroit this June and she was invited to host her business pop-up event in Atlanta.

She’s also launching a virtual boot camp in early summer. Each virtual boot camp will be about an hour long and it will feature Renee and another guest speaker discussing a business topic. Renee says she will share more details about the virtual boot camp at the Bosses Link Up event this Sunday.

Passionate about her brand, Renee loves being able to help others and motivate them to reach their entrepreneurial goals.

“The part that I love about my brand is being able to lead by example and being able to motivate others,” she says. “It’s the best part of my brand and I say that because I’ve been mentored, and I enjoy mentoring.”

“I love the shopping part, too,” she continues, “because I love finding different looks and different clothes that represent professionalism at an affordable price. But for the most part, the best part for me is educating and being that resource to the different business owners.”

DRESS FOR SUCCESS WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK

Building Bosses Boutique gives womxn the opportunity to find professional styles for an affordable price.

“I know that the world has persuaded us to think that you have to wear Gucci, you have to wear Louis,” Renee says. “You don’t have to look like money to be making money. The perception the world has created– it’s really horrible and I’m trying to change that.”

Renee also wants to inspire the younger generation to learn how to dress for success without breaking the bank.  “I have an 11-year-old, going on 12, and I don’t want her to feel like she has to wear Gucci or she has to wear Louis just to look presentable.”

A career professional, successful entrepreneur, and devoted mom? We love to see it!

Renee is on fire and her journey has been inspiring for many womxn. She says being a parent and connecting with her clients and supporters keeps her motivated.

“Honestly, what keeps me going is [number] one being a mom because I want her to live comfortably and have a role model so that she knows, ‘Hey, don’t give up on your dreams no matter what,’” Renee explains.

“The second thing is my supporters, the people that are coming to me, the people that are asking questions. The people that I see come in where I work nine to five, that need assistance. That is what motivates me to keep going.”
