Happy 4th of July, friends! Hope you are enjoying the sunshine and making memories with your loved ones. Here’s a cute story to brighten your day. This one comes from Texas in Southwest Houston and it is sure to make you smile.
New parents Linda and Thomas Agi welcomed quadruplets on June 1, 2018. Mr. and Mrs. Agi named their precious babies Mercy Grace Dotuchowo, Adriel Wohuowo, Amaris Owopoha and Zephania Ohoyenta. Two of the newborns weighed less than three pounds and two other weighed just shy of four pounds.
After spending several weeks in the Level III NICU at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Agi family welcomed home their newborn quadruplets just in time for Independence Day. The medical team at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital celebrated the newborns’ special homecoming by wrapping each baby in a patriotic-themed swaddle to look like the American flag. Aren’t they just darling?!
Mom Linda was very happy to have her little ones home and she expressed her gratitude to the NICU team who cared for babies:
“I am thrilled to be a new, first-time mom and happy to have all four of our babies home from the hospital,” Linda said. “I want to thank the entire NICU team at Memorial Hermann Southwest for their care for me and my babies over the last month.”
Dr. Rachna Bhala, OBGYN affiliated with Memorial Hermann Southwest, on the support for Mrs. Agi and her babies:
“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for a high-risk pregnancy patient,” Dr. Bhala said. “And for the quadruplets, the care by the entire NICU team was exceptional.”
The babies are beautiful and just precious! Congratulations to the Agi Family and we wish them well!
