Happy Thanksgiving! Are you ready for the Thanksgiving holiday? We don’t have plans to go anywhere for the holiday because of the pandemic so we’ll be celebrating at home this year. Despite staying home, I still plan on wearing a dressy casual outfit for Thanksgiving. Just because we’re staying home doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy getting dressed up! Do you know what you’re going to wear yet? If you’re still looking for a Thanksgiving outfit idea, then check out today’s post for a little inspo.
Since I’ll be busy cooking with Travis and running around after the kids, I don’t want to wear a dressy outfit. But I also don’t want to wear loungewear. Instead, I’m going to wear a nice top with comfy jeans and stylish boots.
The outfit I’m wearing in today’s post is a great example of my Thanksgiving outfit idea. In the photos, I’m wearing an animal print turtle neck that I thrifted with my favorite light blue wash Fashion Nova jeans. (The jeans style is called Fawn Mid Rise Skinny Jeans if you’re wondering.)
My faux leather jacket is from Dress Barn. I also thrifted it from a local consignment store. I love how slimming it makes my fall outfit look.
The burgundy heel boots are surprisingly comfortable to wear. I love these boots because I can pair them with a casual outfit and it will turn it into a dressier style. Black or brown boots would also go well with this look. However, I prefer a burgundy or red color because it adds a pop of color. (If you don’t want to wear boots, then you can always pair it with stylish flats or comfy sneakers.)
What are you planning on wearing for Thanksgiving?
