NOTABLE PHOTOGRAPHERS EXPECTED TO ATTEND THE ROCK THAT PHOTOGRAPHY CONFERENCE AND TRADE SHOW

All of the panelists and photographers who are scheduled for the ROCK THAT Conference and Trade Show have great accolades.

Kahran and Regis Bethencourt’s work, for instance, has been featured in Essence magazine and the Oprah Winfrey Network. Their AfroArt series and book continue to garner national attention!

Jenny Risher, a Detroit-based lifestyle and portrait photographer, published her first book Heart Soul Detroit and she has photographed 50 iconic Detroiters.

Last year, I attended Focus on Detroit’s first photography festival and viewed Risher’s photography project called DCYPHERED. The collection was part of her second book, with the same title, and focused on Detroit’s undocumented hip-hop community. DCYPHERED was also featured at the DIA for 7 months!
