One Sleep Night – Detroit | $40 – $50 Adults, $10 Kids

Event Summary: The opening night of the faith-based musical performance One Sleepy Night – Detroit kicks off on Friday, December 8th (with preview shows December 6 – 7).
Tickets run for $50 for adults and $10 for children ages 3 – 12. Check out the FAQ’s page here for more details.

Kids’ Holiday Stocking Workshop | $15

Event Summary: Take the kids to Catfe Lounge in Ferndale to a fun holiday workshop that’s for a good cause!
At this workshop, kids can customize a holiday stocking for their furry friend and fill the stocking with toys. There will be hot cocoa available, too.
The cost of the event is $15 per child, and all proceeds go to the rescued cats and kittens at Ferndale Cat Shelter.

Event Summary: Here’s a heartwarming holiday event you may love: watching the Academy Award-nominated short film The Snowman projected on a big screen while the DSO performs the score live.

Holiday Open House at Clawson Antiques Etc.

Event Summary: I love antique and vintage shopping, and Clawson Antique Etc.’s holiday event sounds like a wonderful idea for finding unique holiday decor and gifts!
The vintage shop sells festive antique and vintage items (I checked their Facebook page and loved seeing the photos).
Free raffle prizes and refreshments will also be available.

The All-City Poetry Showcase | $15 – $ 25

Event Summary: Joel Fluent Greene Presents the All-City Poetry Showcase at the Detroit Public Theatre.
Enjoy an evening of “sophisticated fun” with cocktails and a writing workshop at 5:30 p.m., and the main event starting at 7 p.m.
Phenomenal creatives will be performing, such as Joel Fluent Greene (host), Galaxy, Mack Thursday, Mic Phelp, Dezha, and more!
