Happy Thursday, friends!
What are your weekend plans? This weekend I think we are going to go to a farmers’ market and check out a family festival in Detroit or the metro area. Travis has a lot of homework and studying for his second summer term so we’re trying to keep it a light weekend.
If you’re looking for something fun to do with family or friends, here are my top picks for the weekend. I seriously wish I could go to all of these events. Do you ever feel that way? There’s always so much to do in the city that you wish you could go to all of them?

P.S. — I love Curtis’ music! I saw him perform last year at a hip-hop festival in Southwest Detroit and Elijah and I were instantly hooked on his music. Good stuff!
