On the blog, I’m sharing an inspiring book of hygge that I’m reading, my new favorite YouTuber, a Doodle Book I recently bought, and a funny Christmas meme.

Happy Friday! How was your week?
This week has been productive, and it didn’t feel overwhelming at all.
Maybe that’s because I’ve been reading The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking.
I checked it out at the library last weekend, and the hygge book is inspiring me to transform every room in my house into very “hyggeligt” spaces! (Hyggeligt means hygge-like.)
I want my home to feel calm, cozy, and peaceful.
I even started switching out our light bulbs to low light bulbs that give warm lighting for that cozy feeling. (The Little Book of Hygge has a chapter on candles and lamps to create hygge lighting!)
I think this will be my new hobby for the winter- creating a hygge home!

A Funny Meme: How Toddlers Decorate the Christmas Tree
So cute! We have a kid-size Christmas tree for this very reason. Lol! 🙂
YouTube: This Just Might Be My New Favorite Slow Living YouTuber
All week I have been watching YouTube videos on slow living for inspiration.
I stumbled upon YouTubers Kahvihuone8487- a Filipina and Finnish couple who share cozy videos on their minimalist home and simple life in Finland.
I just watched their recent video “Preparing for Christmas,” and I love their minimalist holiday decor.
(And yes, their home is very hyggeligt! haha)
I have been feeling overwhelmed about Christmas decorating and shopping, so I think I will follow their example and focus on minimalist decorating this holiday season.
Book: A Doodle Book to Help De-Stress
A couple of weeks ago, I ordered myself this little doodle book.
I like to doodle when I’m on the phone or if I need to brainstorm some creative ideas.
I’m a few doodles in and I like it so far! I find the doodles relaxing, and I actually look forward to the next doodle prompt.
Hope you have a relaxing weekend and you’re able to find little doodle breaks! xoxo
