FreeThe Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History will host Camp Africa Spring April 1 - 5, 2019.
The camp is FREE for children ages 7 to 12. It will feature creative, dynamic, and fun activities centered around STEAM – science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Campers will be able to explore the wonders of The Wright Museum while learning key subjects to help them grow as learners.
REGISTRATION SCHEDULE:
Feb. 26 - March 9: 11-12-year-olds
March 10 - March 16: 7- 8-year-olds
March 17 - March 23: 9 -10-year-olds
March 24 - March 29: All ages
March 29: Registration closes
FAQs
Are there minimum age requirements to enroll in Camp Africa Spring?
Each camper must be at least seven (7) years old, and no older than twelve (12) years old to participate. Registration dates are tiered, so please register your camper according to schedule.
Will there be food provided?
No, campers must bring their own lunch. Due to serious food allergies, peanut products (whole peanuts, peanut butter, etc.) are not permitted on the premises.
Does registration cover all days of the program?
Yes, all days are covered and campers are strongly encouraged to attend each day to reap the full benefits of Camp Africa Spring.
